Tire brands have relationship with F1

People have a deep understanding of the importance of tire on the F1 race. Talking about the F1 car tires, people tend to bring attention to the two major manufacturers Bridgestone and Michelin. In fact, in addition to them, there are many tire brands have relation with F1.

The first is the recent outgoing messages will be next year’s F1 tire supplier – Cooper. Different from general tire manufacturers, Cooper focus on replacement tire market, Cooper focus on replacement tires market, with excellent movement and comfort, contends with all the major manufacturers. Concept is not original equipment tires, F1 track is really Cooper’s best performance position.

Dunlop and Goodyear also had sponsored F1. Because of famous driver Senna’s death,  Dunlop left the F1, replaced by Goodyear brand from the United States. The former present the localization in China, have broken away from the international high-end line. Goodyear has a typical traditional American style, anti-noise, but not anti-friction.

Bridgestone, the Japanese authentic brand, is the latest one in world’s six major tire brands, and only in the 20th century became the tire manufacturer, now the exclusive sponsor F1, a pity that the contract will be terminated in 2010. Bridgestone tire features a more neutral, good wear resistance. As sponsoring F1, this rising star’s sales reache an unprecedented height.

Michelin is from France, the inventor of radial tires. Main supporting some middleend products of the top brands. Michelin is famous for producing the overall performance tires, has very a good comfort. Withdraw from F1 in 2007, now sponsore some other car races.

In short, the major tire manufacturers will not easily give up F1. But we are also very clear, F1 supplier is not doing so good, next year we will celebrate the new F1 tire supplier, will be the popular Cooper and Michelin, our jump out of a dark horse? We wait and see!
