In the next generation of Mazda 2, Mazda will use the new SKYACTIV engine and transmission technology. This result brought a 3.3L fuel consumption per hundred kilometer results. This is occurring in the absence of any motor help, so it will be the lowest fuel consumption of gasoline models. The next generation of Mazda 2 will be released in the first half of 2011 in Japan, but other countries need to log in a few years.
