As the market for the growing interest in electric cars, Korean automakers Kia has also said that in 2013 released their first electric vehicle.

Details have not yet been disclosed, but some media reports, the production model will be developed based on Venga EV concept that was show on the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The car will use lithium power source that will supply power to a power of 60 kW electric motor. To support travel about 140 km, and a charging time is approximately 6 hours.

As a pre-production preparation, Kia will create 2000 test vehicle driven by early 2013.

This time, Kia shows Sportage Diesel-Hybrid concept car, the name suggests its development is based on Sportage, and with its own 1.7-liter turbo diesel engine, 115 horsepower, torque 26.53kgm; electric system is a 5kW electric motor, and double-layer capacitors.

In order to achieve Hybrid energy-saving result, body design and lines made a small change, to reduce the drag coefficient, some parts of tire also use the low tire rolling resistance coefficient tires, to enhance the provincial oil; but in the end the car is able to more fuel-efficient? Kia has not released its fuel consumption data, currently only know its CO2 emissions 117g/km.

This year’s Paris Motor Show, Kia has prepared a concept car, three-seater electric car, the car’s appeal as it is called Pop, end of next month’s Paris auto show, we can see the car!

Kia Pop design using panoramic sunroof, and purple with a large distribution of chrome inside and outside, Pop shows that the young and bold design. In the seating configuration, Pop, like iQ, uses the front 2 back 1 configuration; in door design, Pop is very likely to use gull-wing design; As for the lights, have been inevitable to use LED lights group; in other parts, Pop  must be charged from the rear!

Kia has just released a new special edition Soul. This new Ghost Soul will join the Soul Special Edition family including Shadow Dragon soul, Denim Soul, and Ignition Soul. So, what is special about this car? Ghost Soul includes a new front fender air intake, rear spoiler, and sporadic chrome decoration and stylish spoke 18-inch rims. As for the car interior, buyers can see the leather wrapped steering wheel, shift head and leather heated seats.
